Investing In Your Relationship
Is your relationship worth the time, effort, and money in order to make it better for you and your significant other?
If you are married, have you considered the financial, emotional, and mental costs of divorce? Would you rather spend money to maintain and improve your relationship than spend it on mediation or divorce?
Sometimes there is a partner who wants to be in the relationship and the other is not sure or does not currently want to be in the relationship. This is where Discernment Counseling comes in. Discernment Counseling is a five session process to determine if you and your partner want to
- Keep things as they are and keep going with no changes
- Give the relationship six months of Couple's Therapy to improve the relationship and reevaluate from there
- Decide to end the relationship and work on a separation plan
In discernment counseling I meet with each partner individually for sessions one and two, and then the couple meets with me for the third, fourth, and fifth sessions. I offer the five session Discernment Counseling process at the cost of $625 in cash, check, or Zelle. This is a non-refundable cost even if all five sessions are not used. Discernment counseling may save the cost of divorce in which California is a Community Property 50/50 state, as is Texas, or may lead to an easier breakup. In best case scenario it can lead to rejuvenation to your commitment and new and improved relating. For information please call me at 760-490-7125.
